They were the reasond behind my smile, laugh, and happiness in senior high school. I feel lucky to have these girls as my best friends who understand my characters and personality. We'd spend an after school hang outs to eat our favorite foods like bakso, bakmie, and go to McDonalds. They also knew really well what subject I used to doze off / sleep during the class.
All of us go to different universities and take different majors. We have different hobbies, different styles, different personalities, but I'm one of those believers who believe that best friends who have differences can still match very well.
Of course there were times where we got annoyed and angry to each other, but well I realized that people couldn't always please each other all the time, and it's up to us about how we're going to handle the problem. Accepting, forgiving, understanding, and moving on to the next chapter.

Finally here's my blogpost about my school's prom. It's super late, I know. It was held in early May but I just got the chance to pick out some photos and edited it to be published here. Sorry! T.T.
I'm going to write how the prom was from my point of view as the event's coordinator. I'm so proud that this event was 1000% prepared by the student council. It's the biggest annual event at my school and is the most awaited party of the year! An anon once told me not to show off about my role in student council because I kept telling everyone on my blog/ig about my student council activities which is quite stupid since my intention is just to tell what actually happens in my life everyday including my school life, which also includes my activities as the member of the student council . Maybe it can be an inspiration/ fun story to be read by other students.. geez, people these days! -_-
This was how the stage looked like. It's held at our school's hall. It's so different than last year and so much more upgraded too. We used better lighting, decoration, and also used a video wall (that big screen in the middle). This event was attended by the school's headmaster, teachers, and all students from grade 10,11, and 12. It's held from 5pm- around 10pm! There were so many performances by the students. My music teacher asked every class to make a good performance at prom (whether it's singing/dancing/drama).
My outfit! It was a masquerade party but I chose to wear a headpiece with a mesh fabric (as a subtitute to the mask) which was especially made by my sister @petitebelle because it'd be easier for me to coordinate the event :p. (Dress: www.jusy.co / shoes : schutz / bag: celine)

Prom King & Queen Election
They were asked with many questions about their knowledge of our school and other funny questions. ahahha! It was a fun election and voted by our teachers. There were also nominations for the most handsome senior, the most beautiful senior, and the funniest senior voted by grade 10 and 11!

My class performance was almost declined by our music teacher since it was a total mess at the audition time. Many of the boys couldn't remember their moves because they're not serious during our practice time. I got really mad at them because it's like they didn't appreciate the girls' hardwork who prepared everything from the concept, dance, moves, songs, etc. There were 29 of us and it's not easy to create a good formation. Thank God after that we could find a solution and the performance was done smoothly. It was a medley of a broken tango, gg's mr mr, i like to move it, and coca cola indonesia's dunia kita ;D.

A surprise to our student council's main coordinator, Mr. Ay by 12th graders. It was also his last prom here. He worked so hard with us to prepare this prom to be that 'special'. So, they invited his fiance to surprise him :'D. Good luck at your new work place, Mr. Ay! You're truly our best motivator and source of good spirit!

I performed twice and this time was OSIS (the student council)'s performance. We acted as TGL48's members which were invited by Mario Teguh. lol. It was messy and cheeeeesssyyyy. T_T. Maybe it's because we didn't practice the dialogues much and the audience had gotten tired after many performances. I can't even watch myself at the video. So I'm only gonna share a pic. T.T

The 12th graders also got the chance to fly these sky lanterns during dinner time . It was a garden party dinner with some accoustic music as companion at our school's field :).

Overall, it was a great party. I and my fellow student council members were very happy when this event succeed after sooo many preparations. I hope it's a memorable prom and farewell party to our seniors. I even couldn't sleep and lost almost 2 kgs because of stress and nervous feeling :'>. It's something that I'll remember until I'm old and I'm very lucky to take part as the event's coordinator. For you, who'll be a senior high school student soon, I recommend you to join your school's OSIS (student council). Although it may take your time, but it's a really great place to create and get so many experiences that'll be useful in the future. You'll have more friends, and learn to work with many people too.
Next year, I won't be a member of osis anymore, so I can relax and enjoy the party to the very best . lol . Any ideas what theme we should have next year? :D. Btw, you can read my blogpost about last year's prom here. (it's more focused on my class' performance, though)
Prom is an annual event in my school. It's also the 'biggest' event of the year.
As usual, our music teacher asked our class to make an entertaining and unforgettable performance. We were confused about what should we performed at first, but then the ideas started to come out.
Some of the girls in my class wanted to sing+dance (covering JKT48). And then we thought that we should perform the 'hottest' songs at the moment like gwiyomi and gentleman. I asked all of the students in my class to participate in gwiyomi and gentleman. After that some of the boys offered to be 'pansies/sissies' or 'bencong' for the performance. Awesome, right??
I searched for a song that would match the 'bencong' theme and I got Girls' Generation's Dancing Queen. I loveee the moves and the song and I thought it'd be funny if the boys did those cute and sexy moves.
We practiced for around 5 times.. And the video above is the result! We're all amateurs, not proffesional dancers, so please forgive our mistakes . Hehehe! We succeed making the entire audience burst out laughing! Yayyy! :D

To tell you a truth, there's a teacher at school that dug up his own grave by bluntly
saying hurtful comments about my class' and grade 11's performance at the
school's prom. We (my class & grade 11) got many positive feedbacks
about our performances and many people said ours were so funny and nice.
My class and grade 11's performance had a similar concept (dance cover featuring boys as pansies), but grade 11's got different songs and costumes.
The
boys in my class performed as pansies (bencong) and danced to dancing queen, gwiyomi, and gentleman
as I mentioned above. One of the boys wore a shirt and tied it up till it
showed his tummy. And then that teacher commented, "You looked like you
have no-pride and that style totally lowered your pride as a man". Gosh!
My friend wasn't even naked and it's his own decision to wore the shirt
like that and the one who should feel ashamed is himself not you,
right?? He, himself, other teachers, and all of the audiences didn't
have any problem about it except, YOU, sir.
And then he also said that my class danced like robot .
Gosh.. There were 25 of us and not all of us are professional dancers.
We practiced hard, Gaby (my dance team's choreographer who's also my
classmates) and I taught our other classmates the dance moves from all
the songs we performed. He didn't know our efforts at all behind this
performance and easily said those hurtful comment.
For my senior's performance (grade 11), this awful teacher said
the performance had no quality. My senior's performance was a
combination from 4 classes in grade 11. The boys also performed as
bencong and ALL OF US except him KNEW that the boys who performed like
that only performed for the sake of entertaining!
What he did is like planting a bomb but he exploded it himself. He totally doesn't know what entertainment is and he also doesn't know how to have fun. He's the only teacher who had that opinion where the others praised our performances. My homeroom teacher recommend us not to care or get affected by his comment and we should just keep going because it'd just stop our creativity and we didn't do anything wrong.
Well, I'm sorry for my rants.. He knows that I'm angry to him and he keeps frowning everytime he sees me. lol. whateverrrr. I just hope that teacher will apologize to us during his class next Monday because what he did as a teacher to student is just wrong...
BEHIND THE SCENE
(PRACTICE & BACKSTAGE)
There are only 1 month left (minus the final exam and classmeeting) for us to spend the days together as X-1. I'll surely miss the memories in this class. I'm so sad that most of us will be separated into different classes in grade 11. I'll miss our random fights because of different oppinions, laughs, jokes, and our 'celebration' when the school ends early/ the teacher that we hate is away... Hahaha xD
I know it's super late to post about Kartini's Day, but.. it's better to be late than never, right? :D
Talking about women's emancipation in this modern world, I feel that many men (not all of them ok) still often thinks women are below them and they don't appreciate them. We can see that easily even from our nearest circle. They will not believe that we can be strong and smart before they see it by their own eyes.
I always think myself as a confident and 'strong-force' person. It's not that I'm snob, but my zodiac (Leo) even has those characteristics. So, people around me already know that I'm ambitious and strong-willed. I will always try as hard as I can to get what I want and show that I can do it to those who underestimate me.
I really hope that the girls around my age will not just sit or flirt around with boys (u know those girls who only have love in their head annoy me the most). We should use our time and opportunity to enrich our knowledge, be active, and always fight to get the things which are our rights. :)
I was so glad when kak Dhika, the owner of Dhievine sent me this beautiful ikat skirt. If the school allowed me to wear this skirt on Kartini's Day celebration at school, I'd had been happier. Unfortunately the school only allowed us to wear a batik top and white skirt (which is our school's uniform) T^T.
