Turning Seventeen

Yesterday, (July 30th) I finally turned 17! I felt excited because being 17 means I have to be more mature and of course to be a better person.

This was my first birthday that fell during the holiday , so I wasn't able to spend it with my friends. Last night I had a family dinner (minus my sis who didn't go to Jakarta this holiday) at Table8, Mulia Hotel. Chinese food is our family's favorite , so the restaurant was perfect for our tastebuds ! Thanks a bunch to my dad who's the sponsor of the day ! ;p

I wish for a better luck for years ahead, a better personality of me, a better work and spirit , and of course a satisfying mark for my upcoming national exam. I always want to be a good daughter that my parents can be proud of :D.

Cherry Chapstick

Yay finally I got the chance to blog about this improptu photoshoot that I had with my bro a while ago at our home in Tegal.

I always dress up according to my mood, and these days I don't like dressing up too simple / something 'ready to wear'. Instead, I'm imagining I were in a photoshoot. *but still so girly ! haha* Soo.. here I paired a little white dress with a plaid shirt! My accessories were a red bow & a pair of red cherry earrings. And I also did my make up thicker than usual especially with those pinky-red lips ;p. It's so fun! Fashion is really my favorite my playground :D.

  • green plaid shirt from UNIQLO
  • snowbow dress c/o Kumickey Shop (instagram: @kumickeyshop)
  • Heels from Aldo
  • Earrings from @dressmeup
The make up was also the one that I did for my make up tutorial video :)
I was too lazy to curl my hair. So it was in its natural shape (wavy - 7 months after my permanent hairperm back in December) and I decided to tie it at the back like that. Pretty nice, huh? :D

Anyway, how's your first week of school? Mine was pretty nice and tiring. I had so much fun during the orientation week as the senior although I got very tired after that and I already got maaanyyy projects from my teachers !
Uhhmmm.. Can't believe we're having another holiday this week. Soo... happy early eid holiday? ;P

GLAMGLOW's Thristy Mud Review Event

Around last week, I managed to come to this special event by Clozette ID & GLAMGLOW where I got to try their newly released product, Thristy Mud! I was very happy when I got the invitation since I heard about this booming product a lot these days.

GLAMGLOW is a beauty treatment product from Hollywood, California. One of their previous product is youthmud which has a green color and gives an immediate glowing skin.

With other Clozette Indonesia's ambassadors! Sign up on and you might become Clozette ID's ambassador like me ;)

I didn't try the youthmud (blackjar). The blue jar (thirstymud) was held by the staff who was going to apply it onto my face ^^

Naaah. This is the THIRSTYMUD! This mask hydrates, moisturizes, restores, replenishes and calms the skin. Women, men, all kind of skin types, and all ages CAN use this product!

When I tried this product at GLAMGLOW's studio at Plaza Indonesia, the beauty staff removed my make up except my eye make up first and then applied this product. When I had the product applied on my face, was a bit 'tingling' like I had a peppermint on my face. I waited around 10 minutes so that the product would absorb to my skin. After that we wiped it off with a tissue, or we could wash our face with warm water at home.

The result was good! My dry skin was more moist and dewier. It refreshened up my skin which was too dry because I was in air conditioner rooms all the time.

Yay! I got a goodie bag of these samples to try at home. I also gave it to my mom and she liked it. For a better result, we should wear this product 2-3 times a week and routinely.
I also tried this eye treatment to fade my dark circles. The result was okay. My dark circles got better than before after two nights using this product in a row! I slept so laaateee on holiday. I believe this product will work efficiently if we wear this product 2-3 times a week with enough sleep and drink lots of water.

Overall, I like and recommend GLAMGLOW's product because it suits ALL SKIN TYPES so you don't need to worry about anything. It's also made from safe ingredients. You can read more about this THIRSTYMUD product here / Brightmud here. :)

How I do My Make Up

Hi! Finally I make another highly requested video, about 'How I do My Make Up'. I don't wear make up everyday since I'm still a high school student. When I go to school, I only use concealer and compact powder.

Even most of the products I'm using here are actually my mom's, but she gave it to me since she didn't like them. But they surprisingly are good for my skin. Like this CHANEL's VITALUMIÈRE Satin Smoothing Fluid Make up (liquid foundation), it doesn't give me any break out like other BB cream / foundation that I tried before (ugh all bb creams never suit my skin!). My skin also becomes smoother. So I really like this product. The coverage is good too. Price doesn't lie! Thanks mom! ;D

This is the make up that I wear to go to the malls / photoshoot. I've been sticking to this style of make up for over a year. lol. I have monolids, so I always use double eyelid tapes because they DO really make my eyes appear bigger! It's not easy to stick double eyelid tapes at firts, but as time goes by I'm already used to it and don't feel my eyes heavy at all. Beauty sometimes need a little pain! Lucky you, who have double eyelids! :'D

And also, as u can see in the video, I don't have a flawless skin. I have pimples too, especially when I'm on period. Look at that crazy big bump on my forehead T.T. But luckily there's a concealer and they can cover my dark circles / acne scars. This MAYBELLINE clear smooth healthy mineral concealer that I'm using also don't make my pimples go worse, so I like this product since it suits my skin.

If you ask about my skin care routine, I only use Avene Gel Moussant Facial Wash 2-3x a day, in the morning after I wake up, after coming home from school at noon, and before I go to bed. (I get them from Singapore's GUARDIAN) , Evian facial spray after I wash my face (to hydrate my skin) (You can find at any branch of Guardian), and night cream from my dermatologist. I use facial masks from etude / the face shops once a week. I don't use sunblock since I haven't found one that suits my skin. You may also recommend me a good sunblock for combination skin if you know! :)

For more info about the products I'm using at this video, please READ THE DESCRIPTION BOX in the video! Thank you so much :)

Addicted to White

I've been wearing a lot of white lately. I'm so addicted to white tops ! I wore this white lace top from THERUNWAYMARKET when I went to meet my blog buddies at Central Park last Monday.

Thanks to Fhenny from Style Frontier and Julian from Journal J for taking me these photos! I had a really great time meeting up and having lunch till our stomatch's about to burst with them x] <3 comment-3--="">

Smapite's Prom 2014 - Burlesque The Masquerade Party

Finally here's my blogpost about my school's prom. It's super late, I know. It was held in early May but I just got the chance to pick out some photos and edited it to be published here. Sorry! T.T.
I'm going to write how the prom was from my point of view as the event's coordinator. I'm so proud that this event was 1000% prepared by the student council. It's the biggest annual event at my school and is the most awaited party of the year! An anon once told me not to show off about my role in student council because I kept telling everyone on my blog/ig about my student council activities which is quite stupid since my intention is just to tell what actually happens in my life everyday including my school life, which also includes my activities as the member of the student council . Maybe it can be an inspiration/ fun story to be read by other students.. geez, people these days! -_-

This was how the stage looked like. It's held at our school's hall. It's so different than last year and so much more upgraded too. We used better lighting, decoration, and also used a video wall (that big screen in the middle). This event was attended by the school's headmaster, teachers, and all students from grade 10,11, and 12. It's held from 5pm- around 10pm! There were so many performances by the students. My music teacher asked every class to make a good performance at prom (whether it's singing/dancing/drama).

My outfit! It was a masquerade party but I chose to wear a headpiece with a mesh fabric (as a subtitute to the mask) which was especially made by my sister @petitebelle because it'd be easier for me to coordinate the event :p. (Dress: / shoes : schutz / bag: celine)

Everyone wore masks! :p

Confettis at the red carpet from the crackers which were popped when grade 12 students entered the hall.

Prom King & Queen Election

They were asked with many questions about their knowledge of our school and other funny questions. ahahha! It was a fun election and voted by our teachers. There were also nominations for the most handsome senior, the most beautiful senior, and the funniest senior voted by grade 10 and 11!

Here are some snapshots from the performances at the prom

My class' dance performance. spot me? :p
My class performance was almost declined by our music teacher since it was a total mess at the audition time. Many of the boys couldn't remember their moves because they're not serious during our practice time. I got really mad at them because it's like they didn't appreciate the girls' hardwork who prepared everything from the concept, dance, moves, songs, etc. There were 29 of us and it's not easy to create a good formation. Thank God after that we could find a solution and the performance was done smoothly. It was a medley of a broken tango, gg's mr mr, i like to move it, and coca cola indonesia's dunia kita ;D.

The audience ft. my headmaster (Sister Filiphita) dancing along together~

A surprise to our student council's main coordinator, Mr. Ay by 12th graders. It was also his last prom here. He worked so hard with us to prepare this prom to be that 'special'. So, they invited his fiance to surprise him :'D. Good luck at your new work place, Mr. Ay! You're truly our best motivator and source of good spirit!

A pic of me when I was dancing ;P ;P

I performed twice and this time was OSIS (the student council)'s performance. We acted as TGL48's members which were invited by Mario Teguh. lol. It was messy and cheeeeesssyyyy. T_T. Maybe it's because we didn't practice the dialogues much and the audience had gotten tired after many performances. I can't even watch myself at the video. So I'm only gonna share a pic. T.T

Photobooth time with my fellow bff + student council members during dinner time. We changed our heels to flats too... It's too tiring to run from here to there with heels T.T #EO'sproblem

The 12th graders also got the chance to fly these sky lanterns during dinner time . It was a garden party dinner with some accoustic music as companion at our school's field :).
Overall, it was a great party. I and my fellow student council members were very happy when this event succeed after sooo many preparations. I hope it's a memorable prom and farewell party to our seniors. I even couldn't sleep and lost almost 2 kgs because of stress and nervous feeling :'>. It's something that I'll remember until I'm old and I'm very lucky to take part as the event's coordinator. For you, who'll be a senior high school student soon, I recommend you to join your school's OSIS (student council). Although it may take your time, but it's a really great place to create and get so many experiences that'll be useful in the future. You'll have more friends, and learn to work with many people too.

Next year, I won't be a member of osis anymore, so I can relax and enjoy the party to the very best . lol . Any ideas what theme we should have next year? :D. Btw, you can read  my blogpost about last year's prom here. (it's more focused on my class' performance, though)
